another pointilism technique. this ended up finalist in one art contest in binondo, i placed 4th, brought home a certificate and a trophy plus 1,000 pesos cash prize. wow! my idea was to enclose all the happy faces with bad news articles, and a 5 year old child was innocently gazing and perhaps asking why. my model for the hero kid was bambi.

thanks to photoshop, jobs like this don't seem so daunting anymore. 20 years ago my tools were a set 0.2 rotring pen and countless hours of firing on a bristol board. but i'm glad i did that, can't remember though where the original artwork was.
